Do you have a 3-step approach to handling problems? According to dr. Michael Bernard Beckwith we only need to follow 3 simple steps in order to cope with hardships successfully.

The first step (It is what it is; accept it.) sounds easy, right? But in real life, accepthing (bad) things is difficult. We figth it with every ounce of energy we have. How does dr. Beckwith say? “It will either control you or you will control it.” So in order to control these things we first need to control it and not the other way around!

The second step (Harvest the good.) sounds a bit better, doesn’t it? It is essential to see the good in everything because it is true: there is good in everything. We just need to find it and hold onto it.

And finally, the last step: Forgive all the rest. Forgiving is not as easy as it sounds, but we need to learn how to do it eventually. We cannot hold onto grudges because they poison us from the inside.
